Question - Why this year are my apples too sweet and flesh honey coloured?
A problem with apples this year. On cutting the apple open the flesh appears in
places to have become crystalised, as if too much sugar has been produced. It tastes very sweet and is a honey colour. Any ideas why this has happened, as it has not occoured before. Nearly all the apples on one cultivar have the problem, whilst other trees have a smaller amount.
