Seed potatoes were placed in egg cartons on a window ledgeand allowed to sprout.
A layer of compost was laid at the bottom of a potato bag and the seed potatoes were planted on top.
The potato plant was allowed to grow and produced flowers which were pinched out to stop the plant using excess energy to produce seeds.
The potatoes were harvested when the plant leaves die down
